I don't pay attention to reviewers much. I don't usually like the things everyone else likes. I'm used to people disliking the things I like. Life is hard. I'm going to claw whatever joy I can out of the things I like. I'm not hurting anyone by doing so.

Apparently I need to restate this and pin it to my profile because folks refuse to do the bare minimum before interacting with me (like checking my profile bio, for instance): I am not a man. I am not a male. I am non-binary. My pronouns are "They/Them/Theirs."

Because it's a popular desert served on a lot of occasions, the fact I'm not into cake comes up surprisingly often. So it's always a little disheartening when, despite this, people get me cake for my birthday. I appreciate the thought, but don't feel particularly considered for my own birthday.

I feel the rage in this post and the only way I manage it is though ad block, sponsor block and piracy (indie content excluded). Ads are bad for your brain, and being nickel and dimed for things you used to be able to buy once and own means you pay significantly more for less.

I'm Jewish. I hate that antisemites are using the genocide in Gaza to kill Jewish people wholly unrelated to the evil actions of the Israeli government. And I hate that Zionists are using our deaths to justify genocide. The Israeli government does not represent Judaism, does not represent me.

When someone completes their prison sentence, they have paid their debts back to society. What are we telling reformed men and women when we've decided they will never truly be accepted back into society?

I feel like the only person who didn't like Final Fantasy X... Like, I didn't just not like it, it was one of the worst gaming experiences I've ever had vs public opinion. Don't get me wrong! I'm stoked so many people like it. But I disliked just about everything about it, haha.

People really don't realise how tedious and difficult and expensive porting games to different systems is. Like, I'm not even defending prices or whatever. But whenever I bring up porting costs people are like "hmm, nah".

Funny how quick the right wingers went from "the left need to be exterminated!" to "thoughts and prayers for this lost individual," the moment we find out he was a right wing white guy. Except it's not funny at all.
