had an awesome time yesterday with my brother from another mother @jeanmeche.com from the @angular.dev core team, eating a yummy doner kebab, cracking jokes and talking about the future syntax of web frameworks templates (and life)

Proud of you brother! 🙌🎉♥️
Formisch started as a promise. In late 2024 I told @shairez.bsky.social I was going to build a schema-first, framework-agnostic form library. Then I told him again every month, for months. That accountability is probably the single biggest reason it exists. Today it's in RC 🎉
Take a first look at the new @vitest.dev Browser Mode's trace viewer 👀 Design is not final 😄 Thank you, @hiogawa.bsky.social for working on it! main.vitest.dev/guide/browse...
🎤 Shai Reznik (@shairez.bsky.social) is joining Angular Connect 2025! GDE for Angular, @qwik.dev core team member & founder of HiRez.io, Shai is known for making testing faster, fun, and unforgettable. 📅 Sept 12–13, London 🎟️ Tickets: angularconnect.com #AngularConnectIsBack #Conference

What a wonderful group of people! had a lot of fun meeting new friends And look we can also kinda spell @jsheroes.io ! 😅 @joshuakgoldberg.com @bram.us @thepunderwoman.com @nicoespeon.com @atila.io @danshappir.bsky.social @andreipfeiffer.dev @miriam.codes @localghost.dev and more!
and alpha 1 is OUT! 🎉🎉🎉 not sure how much sleep there will be over the rest of the month 😆 (there's so much work still to do) ... but I could not be happier
we are delighted to announce that nuxt v4 alpha ships TODAY! 🎉 ... and we're aiming for a stable release of v4 by the end of the month. (nuxt v5 will come later this year once nitro v3 is ready) 👉 you can read the full article at nuxt.com/blog/roadma...
One big JavaScript Family! Fun memories from @jsheroes.io - framework panel led by Andrei antal with @thepunderwoman.com ( @angular.dev ) @atila.io ( @solidjs.com ) @iamakulov.com ( @react.dev ) @danshappir.bsky.social (JS in general) and myself with @qwik.dev
At @jsheroes.io we just had a discussion panel with representants from @solidjs.com , @angular.dev , @qwik.dev , and @react.dev And yet, @svelte.dev and @vuejs.org got big praises from the participants. 🌊 a raising tide lifts all boats ⛵
So much work went into this! I'm super proud of the @qwik.dev team for their effort and especially the relentless @wmertens.bsky.social and @maiieul.bsky.social ! 💪❤️
Thanks @wmertens.bsky.social @maiieul.bsky.social and @shairez.bsky.social for investing your free time and making this a reality Enjoy the read! (and the ride) 😊 qwik.dev/blog/qwik-1-...
💡AI CODING TIP: always ask cursor / copilot to give you a link to the code parts it is basing its assumptions on. Often time it'll hallucinate and only when confronted with the need to provide evidence it'll realize it understood the code wrong...
We published a CVE for a moderate security vulnerability in vite's dev server, by using an invalid request-target that keeps the hash part. Only apps using --host and node or bun are affected. Please update to the patched vite versions: 6.2.6, 6.1.5, 6.0.15, 5.4.18, 4.5.13 github.com/vitejs/vite/...
Super excited about this - Vite is all about DX. Who'd be the better person to work on Vite Devtools other than @antfu.me ?
We are excited to announce that we are partnering with @nuxtlabs.com to have @antfu.me work on Vite Devtools! More details: voidzero.dev/posts/voidze...
Yesterday I did standup comedy for the first time ever. I covered DevOps, SQL, and how a chicken restaurant relates to that one time I broke production. It was terrifying and nerve-racking and I can’t wait to do it again. Huge thanks to the org @shairez.bsky.social + everyone who performed!

The other day, I paired with the @qwik.dev team to improve module prefetching. We focused on making it more efficient and faster, and honestly, it was an amazing experience working with such a talented team. Qwik keeps blowing my mind! 🚀 @shairez.bsky.social @maiieul.bsky.social

Cooking you some font(less) solution for ALL frameworks! (not just @nuxt.com or @qwik.dev ...) 💪⚡ Courtesy of the great @danielroe.dev with the help of @damianpumar.hf.co @jackshelton.bsky.social @gioboa.bsky.social 🙌
Many of the behaviors that we attribute to "being experienced", we need to remember, are behaviors we discovered by "doing it wrong". That's where experience comes from.
Gotta LOVE that open source spirit! 🙌 @nuxt.com + @qwik.dev + @unjs.io might be cooking something... we'll see 😉 Shoutout to the lovely @danielroe.dev @julienhuang-dev.bsky.social @gioboa.bsky.social and @jackshelton.bsky.social for who you are! ❤️
I love how @vitest.dev has native type checking capabilities! 💪
full sha support is here! now collisions are kinda impossible in pkg.pr.new. I resisted doing this because it's unlikely to happen, but the buildless vite ecosystem ci absolutely needs this. github.com/stackblitz-l...
chore: full sha support by Aslemammad · Pull Request #287 · stackblitz-labs/pkg.pr.new
This would help with shipping vitejs/vite#18525 And it'd also help with having less collisions. Before this PR, longer commits would just get trimmed to 7 characters, which is good, but not sui...

61,740 emails subscribed?? not really... Apparently some bots decided to mass subscribe for qwiknewsletter.com and I was too busy to fix the captcha integration, that was client side only. Solution: moved to @cloudflare.social turnstile and validating it on the server.
💡 Speaking Tip 💡 If you're nervous before a talk, don't treat it as "fear". Treat it as 'excitement" and use that energy to make you sharper and have a faster pace (it'll make your talk more interesting to watch)
Speaking tip -Remove the bullets from your slides! Instead - turn every bullet into its own slide The audience is more engaged this way and it still takes the same amount of time to complete the point...
