Every community is different. But there's more influencing our culture than people realize: rumors, sabotage, socioeconomic disparity, personal anxiety and neurodivergence, inexperience (or sometimes traumatic experiences), etc. Groups that fail to recognize this will fail their own members.
I was asked by a community leader for advice on fixing intolerance. 1 - Educate. Learn to recognize what helps/harms individuals, and teach. See the Furry in each other. 2 - Build up tolerance in general spaces. 3 - Lay boundaries as issues arise. Put the most divided groups into separate spaces.
