1/3 I notice some Furries struggle with communication, and the things they wish to say don't always come out right. I remember Mr. Rogers making the snowclone "I feel X when you do Y because Z." Feelings are mentionable and manageable. Here's more to help when you struggle to find the words!

1/2 Thank you all for attending Your Tour last week! We had a blast covering several exhibits and topics, including Theriantropy, ABDL, Fursuiting, Furry History, and Furs in Spain/the Middle East. We played the world's oldest board game, Senet, and watched some awesome short films in the theater!

Everyone is deserving of love, and every one of us has people who've done lovely things for us in our life. It's good to remember and acknowledge that. When we forget to mention the reasons we love our friends, they won't know, and it becomes too easy to forget.

While there is plenty of discussion about Autism and ADHD in this Fandom, we don't talk about other forms of disabilities enough. I have Type One Diabetes. There are special challenges and considerations I always need to make. I'm so grateful to have friends that care and understand. Thank you!

I told someone recently that anyone doing accessibility work in America has been punished by our government. And I’ve gotten some “idk about that” But the thing is they banned the word accessibility and then they defunded and laid off people doing this work. Now accessibility has to be hidden

1/4 I was told recently someone publicly voiced their displeasure with the Babyfur community at an Anthrocon panel. Guys, some of us learned from history you don't voice your hatred in public forums. When you attack communities that serve people well, you bring no good to anyone.

Recently, a Technical Artist told me they understand geometric art, but can't make organic art. I told them it's a different mode of thinking with its own logic and design. Sometimes it's best to eschew logic and judgement to make something. Don't ever let your brain get in the way of making art.

Ignorance is comforting because it doesn't force us to think too hard or make any difficult choices. It doesn't require us to change our perspective at all. But I prefer learning to ignorance and understanding to assuming. That is the path towards enlightenment. Otherwise, we're stuck here forever.
