dale@clangorofdale.bsky.social · 2y agoStarted this #mwe this morning. I'll make this post a thread and tell you every day what it was. At the end of each week, I'll do a post at Clangoring that will give you my impressions of each one.
Bandcamp lets us keep 85% of revenue. That is the best rate of anybody out there. Over a period of about 15 years, I have taken home ~$3000. Every album is "pay what you want", so you all rock. If you bought an album for $5 then you gave me more than streaming the whole album ~300 times.

“There are now universities & medical centers all across the country wondering, only slightly metaphorically, how long they can keep their doors open” They’re shutting down cancer research, including pediatric cancer research, to own the libs I guess finding better cancer treatments is too ‘woke’?
Ben Chrisinger@bchrisinger.bsky.social · 2y agoAgain, the indirect costs cuts will close cancer research labs. Plain, simple, cruel.

Instead of saying "I didn't understand the halftime show, therefore it is bad art" maybe try and understand why you didn't get it and think critically about the presentation, symbolism, etc. This is part of the beauty of art and creativity.
