Enjoyed the great collection of ceramics at the Fitzwilliam Museum on a recent visit to Cambridge. Couldn’t find any Chartist or Peterloo stuff, but liked this of Marat very much not in his bathtub

I wonder when we lost the ability to just say 'this content is not aimed at me but clearly it is valuable to a lot of people'. I don't read romance novels but I don't want to torch the headquarters of Mills and Boon.

The world’s most normal commentators here. Hadley sitting in her flat, grinding her teeth and seething with rage at the drag queen show. And I doubt the paper’s readers give a damn either.

I’m on Glasgow Green, site of the 1838 launch of the People’s Charter by Rev. Arthur Wade . This is a massive public space which could easily have accomdated the reported 100,000 crowd
