Two posters and a symposium on laminar MEG at #BIOMAG2026! Matteo Maspoli and @jan-sch.bsky.social present their posters today, and tomorrow at 1pm they will give talks along with myself and @studenova.bsky.social at the symposium: Inferring laminar dynamics of human neurocog processes with MEG

Very excited for the next few days at #BIOMAG2026! I will present our labs most recent endeavors in inferring laminar activity on a methodology level, and also in Parkinson‘s Disease Patients. If this sounds interesting to you, you can find me at poster 203 and Symposium 15! Looking forward to it!

New preprint from the team - what's the role of frontal cortex - LPFC & MCC - in learning about progress towards goals? Data from the checking project collected by Fred Stoll. New analyses by Xiaoqi Xu. With Matteo di Volo, Manu Procyk, & skytorial from @nilskolling.bsky.social below

New preprint alert! doi.org/10.64898/202... Throughout life, we are often told to persist in the pursuit of our long term goals. However, the most important factor to consider in the real world for whether to continue pursuit or abandon one's goal is knowing how much progress you are making.

I am happy to bring your attention to an upcoming workshop I am co-organising on early social experience, neuropsychological development, and mental health. This will be held in Sicily on September 2nd-5th 2026: centromajorana.it/earlydevelop...

We've been saying for a while now that beta bursts might be functionally heterogeneous. Check out @quentinmoreau.bsky.social's paper where we show that different types of bursts have different relationships to behavior in a sensorimotor adaptation task 👇👇👇

🧵1/3 New paper out! Beta bursts aren't all the same and their waveform shape are functionally meaningful ! @maciekszul.bsky.social & @danclab.bsky.social👇 www.biorxiv.org/content/10.6...

📈🧠 We're looking for brains! 🧠📈 Postdoc + PhD positions are available to help pioneer fetal MEG with optically pumped magnetometers, measuring prenatal responses to sound and light to understand how we start making sense of the world even before we're born. 🐣 Please get in touch to hear more!
