Something Luis Miguel Echegarray brought up today on @siriusxmfc.bsky.social. Also worth keeping in mind that Gianni's plan demands that every tourney decision be made to maximize profits. They might do that now as a matter of course in some cases, but this will institutionalize that reality.

I do wonder when people are going to start talking about the effects on women's soccer of FIFA's newest form of corruption and the on-going brinksmanship. The Women's World Cup is the tournament most under threat immediately and it's also an event that FIFA's proposed corruption can deeply alter.
