Veteran creators like Picacio may feel more comfortable negotiating than new or first-time authors and artists—and MRM might even be open to negotiation—but no one should have to negotiate every single contract to get even basic stuff like this added back to the boilerplate.

Which means "AI" systems don't "go rogue". Careless people who don't give a damn about anyone but themselves build rubbish, dangerous systems and use them harm people and infrastructure.

TBH the whole “AI is going to kill us all and must be slowed to save humanity” thing feels hella manufactured to me as an attempt to convince everyone AI is actually more then just a useless answer-bot that lies and steals stuff so they can stop the bubble popping and putting them out of business
