The J stands for “Jungle Planks”

I was walking past some clover with my wife yesterday and recounting this story again even though she was there when it happened. I was acting it out and accidentally picked ANOTHER four leaf clover. So what do I even know about probability.

Went camping with family over the weekend and within 10 (literal) seconds of introducing the concept of a four-leaf clover to my nephew he managed to find one. Now he’s going to grow up with a very skewed sense of clover rarity.

Totally normal Facebook Marketplace interaction: Them: I’m free alllll day! Me: Great! I’ll be home at 3pm! Them: Can’t you just leave the item outside and I’ll leave the money somewhere? Me: I cannot leave a pile of knives outdoors.

What happened to the crazy inventor making stuff in his garage trope? When I was a kid in the 90's it was so common It seemed like a legit career path, now you hardly see it anymore and I feel like theres a darker reason for that shift. In modern media science is done in a lab owned by a corporation

Coyote Vs Acme was great. They managed to remain faithful to the character’s personalities in spite of a much longer runtime than a silent short. I do feel like the animation could’ve played more to camera though, so it would look less like cutscenes from a 3D Looney Tunes platformer.

Here’s my conspiracy theory: Is AI actually threatening to end human civilization, or are they just claiming that because it’s finally proving to be a dead end and they want to look like heroes when they inevitably pull the plug to save their wallets, rather than failures.

Ocaremake looks great. The art style is 100% a product of the era. The Switch 2 is 4K so they’ve chosen an intentionally detail-dense art style to leverage that hardware. I’d be reluctant to buy a generic HD remake, but this has enough new embellishment to be interesting to explore again.

Everyone (read: Youtube thumbnails) seems to rag on Nintendo for not doing enough for a franchise’s anniversary. But like, they have so many iconic franchises that every single year is a multiple of 5 for one series or another. If they were beholden to that it would dictate their entire focus.

Random Prediction: Super Mario Maker 3 will let you draw on stages with the mouse to sketch your ideas like the original game designers did with graph paper. You’ll be able to draw your own graphics too, but you won’t be able to share those stages online, and the capture button won’t work.

If Pikmin 4 had Bingo Battle it would’ve been a near-perfect Pikmin game. Pikmin 3 stands supreme for Pikmin multiplayer. Online Bingo Battle is a great thing. Just wish this Switch 2 Edition had added some new Bingo stages.

Here’s Funky Kong’s design in Bananza. Funky Kong used to literally just be the Donkey Kong model with surfer attire. Then he got teeth and blonde fur, the blonde fur seems to be gone, but it looks like they’re letting him keep the old Rare Ltd brow even though they changed it on DK himself. #dkc

I feel like I’m going insane. How is this product remotely suited to lefthanders? It claims the coil is on the right side so it’s out of the way for lefties, but just like any notebook, that’s only true for half of the pages! Why is no one saying this in the reviews? Am I missing something?

Hildegard is going undercover as a new alter-ego named Candela Toussaude. When I needed to colour their bills, I looked up real-world toucan species and learned there's one called a "Hooded Mountain Toucan" and another called a "Fiery-Billed Toucan" so of course I picked those! #art #dnd

An elderly hag of a toucan, bundled in blankets, and covered in dripping wax from candles on her head and one candle on her bill. These candles glow with a ghostly blue flame, and one of the flames is itself a ghostly toucan, whose only tangible feature is her bill.As per my tradition for dnd characters, here they are as pixel art.

Here's a detailed illustration of my next D&D PC (Hildegard Eden Von Tempest the half-gnome cleric). I tried to elaborate on the details of her design a bit so that instead of a direct port of Mister Rogers' Neighbourhood, now it's a gritty realistic reboot of Mister Rogers' Neighbourhood. #art #dnd

A hunched, elderly woman covered in coats, cloaks and shawls. Her baggy sleeves conceal several small drawers containing various materials. She has tiny little baby arms so storing supplies on her hip would be impractical. Don't think about it too hard.
