Ohh Bats. You fell for the oldest trick in the book! You see, I, The Joker, secretly replaced your cans of Diet Dr. Pepper with Dr. Pepper Ten. The whole time that you thought you were drinking zero calorie soda, you were actually receiving ten calories per can. It adds up, Batsy

A lot of people don't know this, but when you brush a cat, you are legally required to show them the wad of cat hair that came off of them and tell them "this is enough for another whole cat"

Cook more and pay attention when you do. Make recipes that intimidate you. You'll begin to understand how flavors compliment and how time & temperature works and in no time, you'll be able to completely wing it like a pro.

I have to sort of actively resist watching THE TERMINATOR all the time. It has become my brain's answer for "what am I in the mood to watch?" and I'm constantly saying "no, not now" because I've likely *just* watched it.

It's incredible how Medicare4All discourse never seems to progress in mainstream politics it's just always people saying "well what if it goes wrong" as if it's a brand new idea that has never been tried anywhere, never talked about before, never been studied even one time

When I don't know what to watch I go to "films" on Letterboxd, choose a decade, sort by popularity, watch the first thing I haven't seen. Not foolproof, but mostly these are movies you should see. At least, that is, if there is some critical distance. The 2020s are full of "absolutely not" titles.

Think it's time to say goodbye to my comics. Lots of years, lots of money, & a helluva lot of pleasure. But for 10 years they've been stacked in nearly inaccessible longboxes in whatever closet they'll cram into. I love them but they already may as well not exist, so why not take that extra step...

Regarding how MCU Peter Parker pays rent or buys food…My headcanon is that May Parker had good life insurance and that Tony Stark left Peter Parker money too, possibly in a trust, as he was already investing in his personal & professional growth. 🤷‍♂️
