R.I.P. Chuck Russell, who I had the pleasure of meeting a few times, such as at this 2017 reunion with Don Dokken in Philly. NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET 3 remains one of the best horror sequels and his 1988 THE BLOB is one of the all-time great remakes. A very nice guy and a real good director.
