I've seen a few artists and designers online starting to offer free flyer templates to encourage businesses to stop making AI slop flyers. I think it's noble, and I'm proud of them for taking the high ground. I, on the other hand, refuse. Fuck you, pay me. I will drag you into the muddy streets

Demonstrating your point in your post is wild. "The [artwork] is the smallest part" Were you unable to hire an artist to help you make this oh so important piece? If you can afford these unsound & unethical tools, you can afford an artist out there looking for work. Economic Gaslighting indeed

Much of what is said about economics is little better than gaslighting.... I used AI tools when writing this post, including a spell checker. I also used 50 years of experience writing about these issues. The drawing was the smallest part of all that, and I had no budget to do it any other way.

β€’ Big "I don't allow girls at my table" energy. β€’ This guy LOVES reminiscing about how much better THACO was I'm willing to bet. β€’ Yearns for the days when ttrpgs were largely inaccessible to most people. β€’ This guy wishes they'd remake "Oriental Adventures" but it's all too woke now.

"I'm entitled to whatever I want whenever I want it for any reason and I don't care what satisfying these urges does to me or the world" well okay dude, seems like there's something deeper going on here, but that's just my take

This is classic smooth-brained, one dimensional thinking. If you don't think too hard, this makes sense. The minute you realize that providing cheaper competition into a capitalist environment drives down prices in surrounding areas, you get that everyone's prices are about to go down. AFFORDABILITY

Opinion: Mamdani's idea may sound appealing, but it's NYC taxpayers who will take the hit, subsidizing discounts they may never even use.

I don't know how much for sure because my scale died, but I've definitely gained some weight in the past month or two & I can feel it on me in the worst way. Ask my partner if it was noticeable and they gently confirmed. I'm fine with dad-bod, but this is past that and I need to get back to work
