Okina is more of the uncontrollable guest character type in the beginning. She will do whatever she feels is best in combat, and most of the time you’ll be happy with the results. Then towards the end of the first chapter she splits from the group and rejoins fully playable, reconciling with you.

Are they an enemy who can be spared and joins you? Do you have to stand on a random tile in the desert with a specific playable character for no reason?
