I was a Head Start kid. We were living in the Lower East Side of NYC and had little income. It’s now been shut down. I look forward to the day when it reopens, undoing the hateful work of the orange menace.
Achievements. Outcomes. Value. Many will say that you must stay focused on those things, not process or ways of working. Others will say that if you do the right things, the results will take care of themselves. Become excellent at executing, don’t obsess over the prize. I think it’s both.
Customer today was getting production issues due to null values. A coach from Industrial Logic asked the devs if they knew the Null Object pattern. They did not. I suggested he teach it to them and said “We don’t take null for an answer.”
