🔹CTRG in 2025🔹 2025 has been a productive year for the CTRG. We have: 📚 Published 22 journal articles, book chapters, and reports. Another 19 are accepted or undergoing peer review.

🌎 Delivered 42 workshops and presentations, in 17 countries, across 4 continents. Audiences included HMPPS, NABS+, AETAP, VOX-Pol, Council of Europe, and House of Commons.

CTRG have been busy recently: 🔹 @sandyschumann.bsky.social chaired a panel discussion for UCL students, in collaboration with Resilience in Unity. The panel featured a former extremist, survivor of terrorism, and a counter-radicalisation practitioner.

Our new study uses a nationally representative sample of the UK general population to explore how different clusters of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) can be related to susceptibility to violent extremism.

It’s been a busy week for CTRG: 🔹 Prague 🇨🇿: Lujia Pei presented her PhD research at the VOX-Pol Next Generation Network Conference, sharing insights from a systematic review on how young people become involved in violent extremism, with a special focus on the role of the internet.
