Rahman had downloaded multiple terrorist publications, including bomb manuals, and also possessed indecent images of children - including in the most severe category He had taken pics of himself in military clothing making Nazi salute, holding a noose and displaying misogynistic and violent symbols

A 19-year-old neo-Nazi, Dihan Rahman, has been jailed for 4.5 years for terror offences, stalking and possessing indecent images of children He was an admin for a neo-Nazi Telegram group that encouraged international terror attacks. Its 24-year-old man leader was jailed in Belgium last year

Since the narrative of “young right-wing men” persists so — here are some findings/patterns from the representative election statistics of the various German federal states. Spoiler: *IN NO GERMAN STATE DO MEN AGED 18–24 VOTE FOR THE AfD MORE THAN MEN AGED 35–60.*

AfD vote shares by gender and age in all federal states. State elections: Bavaria, Berlin, Brandenburg, Bremen, Hamburg, Hesse, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania (*=2021 state election held on the same day as the federal election), Lower Saxony, North Rhine-Westphalia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Thuringia. Federal elections: Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate (as no data is yet available for the 2026 state elections), Saarland, Schleswig-Holstein (no representative election statistics for state elections)
