Since getting the cast off my wrist I've had to wear a brace. While the brace is a million times better (love being able to take it off to take a bath), every so often the skin on my hand/arm decides to go into sensory overload and flip out like a kid in the water who just just a fish.

Broke my arm back in June. Fractured both my humerus and my radius. Spent a few days at the SJ Regional Hospital cause both fractures required surgery.

Have been in the SJ hospital since Tuesday night. Waiting for a surgeon to screw the bones in my arm back together. Send me your best YouTube recommendations.

Marysville has exactly 1 candidate for councillor with a published outline of a concept of a platform, so I guess that's who will be getting my vote.

I think this is the first time a skeet made me laugh so hard I cried.

I don't think people understand that the only large animal vets in this province are the ones employed by the province. There are no private vets offering this service, and expecting the provincial vets to go into private practice with zero notice is absurd.

CBC Radio Fredericton interviewing two farmers complaining about GNB closing prov veterinary services. They keep saying 'we pay for it'. Then what's the problem? Pool your resources and hire a travelling vet. We need a show called 'the coddled farmer'.

An NB budget item I have only seen being discussed by the farmers and the horse people: the elimination of the provincial vet program and lab. The province is going to lose 20+ large animal vets, plus our pathology lab, when the availability of vet services for livestock is already at crisis level

Sometimes I wonder why our local Costco is so busy like all of the time. it's just always packed. It's because it's the only place where food is even close to reasonably priced. If you have the money to buy in bulk and pay for a membership you're prob at Costco.

They released numbers once & shut it down bc humanities were producing huge $ for uni & engineers, business and scientists were losing $

These are “low enrollment” majors but the classes are regularly at capacity. They changed the funding structure a few years ago here, switching the allocation from course enrollments to majors then blamed these departments for a structural, top-down change. This is entirely a political choice.

Maybe we could have both if we taxed the oligarchs instead of funding their losses at the expense of the public purse.

I am convinced my scale is gaslighting me. None of my clothes fit me anymore, they are all baggy and too loose. Some of the winter riding kit I bought in September is fitting completely different. Even my half chaps are loose. My scale says I've gained 4 lbs since December.

This is the first morning for weeks that my Garmin hasn't yelled at me about my stress levels.

We had to say goodbye to our boy Moose today. We loved him, and were loved by him, for 19 years. He was the perfect little loving void - a total weirdo who loved people, tap water, and making his presence known by yelling at all hours. It's awfully quiet here today.
