SCHIFF: You told my staff you stood by your article in white nationalist website VDARE where you wrote, 'Muslim immigrants & their kids seem prone to terrorism' C: I wrote that article in support of Trump's travel ban S: Do you stand by it? C: I stand by that article S: That's all I need to know

Our ram lamb is such a goof. He’s 4 months old and ready for a new home so I am officially registering him with the Gulf Coast Sheep breeders association. I name all our sheep after veggies- so he is officially rhr Radish!

A black faced and black fleeced ram lamb with horns gazing up into the camera in bewilderment.

I love Talarico and hope he wins. But he’s already raised $70M On the flipside, control of critical state legislatures will come down to seats where candidates raise 0.1% of that. I’ve researched the highest leverage swing district candidates you should donate to secure.actblue.com/donate/donat...

Donate to the candidates on the front lines of the fight against MAGA gerrymandering

These are anti-MAGA state candidates in *extremely* close races

Once again I’d like to correct one of many statements of misinformation put out by Robert Kennedy. The Mennonites-as a whole-have no bans on vaccinations. The groups impacted are splinter groups of Old Colony Mennonites, a small fraction of all Mennonites. www.mennoniteusa.org/measles/

Now here's a challenge for the men of @ach.bsky.social: volunteer to be next in line for secretary and mix things up so it's not always women and enbies doing that work. The last male secretary was Stéfan Sinclair from 2004-2007. It's been 20 years, my dudes!

Sarah Werner@wynkenhimself.bsky.social · 4d ago

Hoo boy when I was the Secretary on a board and couldn’t find a man to take my place when my term ended because having to do that work of metacognition was too feminized

I work at a public library. People who want to use AI seem to have no trouble doing so. People who don't want to use AI have a harder time. I crowdsourced and then finalized this document "How to disable or avoid intrusive AI" and then gave it a short URL: notoai.org Please pass along if it's useful

An aircraft passenger oxygen mask: a drop down passenger mask with air bag and yellow plastic mouth and nose cover, oxygen tube has been cut; Demonstration model used by flight attendant crew for passenger instruction. Has text on the side indicating that it's non-functional.

Please consider writing a piece for this volume on Africana Digital Humanities at HBCU’s. I’ve worked with each of the editors, and they are all top notch humans! ( please circulate as well)

Chapter call for charting new terrains- a book on Africana digital humanities at hbcus. Oct 1 2026 deadline for an abstract at the theeadhlab@gmail.com

NEW: Nate Schatzline is a voting fraud conspiracy theorist who believes he is at war with demonic forces and has close ties to a movement of "prophets" that helped spark Jan 6. So why did Gov. Greg Abbott just give him a $275,000 job as a senior advisor on "election integrity" issues? (Gift link).

He Sees Politics as a Spiritual Battle Against Demonic Forces. Now He’s Advising the Governor.

Meet Nate Schatzline, the Christian nationalist and former state representative who is helping Greg Abbott manage “election integrity.”

A very serious Rural Politico once told me "Dems have to go to farmer meetings! We gotta be where the people are!" I was in fact in a farmer meeting at that very moment! So I live-texted him the meeting. They were complaining that they want indentured workers that they don't have to pay or feed.

There would be more pushback if folks left of center were more serious about outreach. But folks aren't despite the fact that our system does give disproportionate power to rural areas. But instead of taking that as the rules of the game as it exists, and actually organizing, we complain about it.

If this gets instituted, we’re going to see a study in a few years that says, “Black children, and children of color, were pepper sprayed at nineteen times the rate of white children,” and mfers are going to act surprised, despite how clearly every data point says this will be the case.
