Brum Biosphere

@brumbiosphere.bsky.social

A five year project bringing together 300 partners across Birmingham and a super cluster of farms on its fringe to restore Nature and connect Brummies for their health, wellbeing and prosperity #BrumBiosphere https://www.team4nature.co.uk

Our 20th Anniversary Baton Walks last summer were incredible, many thanks to @chris4patches.bsky.social! He walked miles across #Birmingham, connecting with green spaces volunteers, the "unsung heroes" of Brum! Stay tuned for more collaborations with @brumbiosphere.bsky.social coming this year! 💚

We are proud to announce that our wonderful partners @bosfonline.bsky.social will be at the very heart of the Brum Biosphere mechanism. We warmly invite you watch their celebration of 20 years of voluntary action to inspire your community 😎 m.youtube.com/watch?v=ENaU...

It was a real pleasure to lead a bird walk today with the Friends of Swanshurst Park. The range of habitat meant that 32 species were recorded, but the real buzz for me came from the energy and enthusiasm of this group I’m looking forward to leading another one at nearby Trittiford next month

It’s fabulous to sense the growing connection with Brum’s birds and butterflies across the city and demand is growing! 42 bird species have been recorded during guided walks with the Friends of Swanshurst Park, and the local community are loving the boost to their happiness and wellbeing! 😎
