One of the reasons I drifted away from the anime fandom is its deep, built-in disinterest in how the medium is actually produced. So many of the assertions that weebs make are either terribly misinformed or just straight up lies.

Nearly all anime is made on the cheap with negligible differences in budget between the highest and lowest quality productions When an anime looks good it's because it has a strong creative team and (often) a good production schedule, not because it was made with more money

I was homeschooled, and being homeschooled was honestly pretty good for me (and also is directly responsible for me meeting my boyfriend). I think homeschooling is the wrong call for at *least* 80% of current homeschoolers and should require both licensing and active state scrutiny to do.

what are things where your own experience and the view of what you think is good for most people vary wildly? For instance, I *hated* university and it was not at all interesting or useful to me intellectually, but am generally very encouraging of people going to university.

Furries already solved US politics a long time ago, it's called making a new group chat without the bad ones and never telling them about it, just make a new country and don't tell the current government except Mamdani
