Don't know if I've ever mentioned it here before, but I have a deep fascination with BASE jumping and wingsuit flying. I'm currently reading a memoir from a BASE jumper and it's been such a fun read (ironically, I read it during my commute to/from my office job)

Lately I've come to appreciate the CVS store-brand adult wipes with aloe; the scent is incredibly intoxicating and smashes all of those nostalgia buttons.
Rocky the Pampyote@rockyote32.bsky.social · 2mo agoEveryone talks about the scent of baby powder, but few people will talk about the scent of wipes. It was one of those sensory things I recalled from my early childhood, and smelling wipes now instantly puts me in a little headspace to some degree.
This was peak car seat design. The adjustable bar, the multiple strap heights, and the center crotch strap that can only be released at the front. There was no feeling like having the bar come down as the straps pressed against your shoulders and you heard that *click* as it locked into place.
