Look idk who needs to hear this cause I've seen alot of artists over the years dig this exact hole, but you need to finish your commissions. A percentage of your clients are going to be repeat commissioners. Another percentage of your clients heard about you from word of mouth. 🧵

A certain AAA studio told employees that their internal gen AI was trained only on local data, but whenever said employees tried to generate an image of a woman holding a gun, it generated Lara Croft. The studio was not Crystal Dynamics, and had never worked on the Tomb Raider IP in any capacity.

I just want to mention: Even if your AI somehow runs locally and you think it's okay, it's still using trained data from a pre-existing dataset which is still full of stolen work. The sheer amount of data gen AI needs is in the hundreds of thousands, you can only get that by scraping

bailey passed away tonight. at 11 years old we knew it would be coming, but it still came out of nowhere. just so grateful i got to hold her through it while she faded and just. fell to sleep in my arms.

and finished one of @toastyree.bsky.social’s birthday presents!! 🥺 we have rings and lockets we wear every day so i made a trinket hook to keep them safe when we shower etc 🥹 (also because i am notorious at losing rings eep) polymer & air dry clay, acrylic paint #bilvart

a wall mounted flower with a curly green stem/vine covered in leaves. the end of the vine curls up to be a hook for hanging necklaces. one of the flower petals extends outwards as a trinket dish for ringsa close up of the pink rose, holding the pre-engagement ring rylee gave me a close up of the vines and leaves, with my locker hanging off. there are gold streaks where i dropped it and it broke right as i was about to finish making it, and rylee suggested painting them gold like kintsugi streaks instead of trying to hide the cracks
