Sad news from Charalambides's Tom Carter that Mikel Dimmick of Spiral Joy Band has died. To quote Tom, Mikel had "a wide-eyed fascination with every corner of reality that built on an already expansive love of sound...it will take us months if not years to fully unravel his immense musical output."

An event happening tonight (2/6) in Charlottesville is this @teenbeat.bsky.social art/design show opening at Infinite Repeats! This should be very cool as of course Teenbeat Records has always had a singular and cool design bent to go along with the music. Should be a good time with good folks.
