The workhorse cans, Bose QC 45. Just replaced the ear pads after 3 years heavy use. Though they are plastic(y) all over, they’ve taken all weathers, drops, bag rumbling and performed very well. Better built than I first thought, and sound is decent enough, active noise dampening v.good too 🎧

I used to fantasize that if money wasn’t an issue I could just start a label and promote the bands I dig and put more of that out into the world but I’m starting to suspect that bankrolling a music publication indefinitely would have a bigger impact.

Isn't it odd that on an accusation by a victim Glitter is charged and has to appear in court to defend himself against the accusation. Isn't this how it's supposed to work? There's no need to release the Epstein files if only the prosecutors acted on the victims accusations appropriately

I like when people announce that a piece of music has field samples in it but you can’t actually recognize anything in there as field samples. It’s like when you’re eating food and someone tells you there’s celery in it and you’re like “Whaaat?” It feels sophisticated.

More seriously, back in the day, we did give out tapes and 7"s and it was always very much appreciated, especially when you insist "No, you can't pay for it, it's a gift". Probably, drinks were exchanged at times. If I still went out, I'd print stickers with yum codes and stick them in the toilet ;)
