on two occasions I have run into a dude who went with the "I identify as a woman" thing because he thinks its really funny and my learning has been that if you take his word for it and start calling him a woman he stops finding it funny in about 1 second and starts getting upset & so you don't stop

after losing 80lbs in a year from proper nutrition and weightlifting i was told my BMI was still “overweight”. i looked like this and had blood pressure so low i was passing out doing blood panels. the last time my body weight was this low i was 15.

I feel like trans people are at this point where we’re equivalent to abused shelter animals with celebrities. you make sure people know you support the concept of them getting help, maybe do a photo op to bolster your Good Person credentials, and then never think about it again

The only responsible attitude for liberals and progressives to align on is that all right-wing grievances, claims and believes are not only false, but malicious lies. Nothing passes the mouth of an American conservative in public life that is not meant to harm and destroy the lives of millions.
