Ever since the Zelda Direct on Tuesday, I've had the itch to play more Zelda. So now I am going to attempt to 100% a master mode file in BotW. Wish me luck!
Started my new job today and it started raining. Summer vacation is over I guess lol
Despite the logistical nightmare of preparing for and making the most of Pokémon Worlds, seeing my friends made it all worth it! It was also a lot of fun watching the finals matches with a live audience. I’m not planning on going to Singapore next year, but I’m very excited for NAIC in Chicago!
Wasn’t able to attend the Retro Shiny Challenge since I didn’t have a Saturday pass, but @jankeleg.bsky.social and I did our own little RSC! We did about 300 encounters within the hour… and predictably found nothing. Next time!
I had the pleasure of meeting @partyarlie.com yesterday! I would not have discovered the larger shiny hunting community if it were not for a YouTube video of hers appearing on my feed three years ago, so it was lovely to get to finally talk to her in person. I also got this awesome Ditto magnet!

Serebii Update: Pokémon Bank will stop working and being able to connect to Pokémon HOME on February 26th 2027. Pokémon will not be able to stored any longer in it and it cannot connect to Pokémon HOME after that day serebii.net

Zach Bussey 🍁@zachbussey.tos.gg · 2mo agoTwitch and Amazon are apparently planning to use streams to train Generative AI. Multiple sources tell me it will be announced in the coming months, despite some internal friction against it. Creators may be able to opt out of some training data.
I hate saying this, but please be naturally skeptical of any "recomp" project you see. When an article comes out saying, *insert classic game here* is now playable on PC!!" assume it's vibe coded AI crap. Projects like that take an absurd amount of time/effort to be done well by actual programmers!!

Safari Week was a lot of fun this year! I did about 16,000 encounters, got three shinies with no fails, and spent many hours hunting with my friends! My goal for next year is to add a couple HGSS safaris into the mix
I found another shiny Exeggcute just 2,276 encounters after the last one! Not what I was hoping for... but I guess I have the line now LOL
