I learned that there‘s a nurse called Marwin and he has a special talent in drawing blood. If there‘s no doctor who has time to lock the fuck in on you then they send you downstairs to go see Marwin and he will get them your blood. Thanks, Marwin.
They postponed my discharge to tomorrow 💀💀💀 But they are very optimistic that I can leave then. It was the same doc that took me in last Sunday night and she remembered my little syncope lmao
Update of horror: My tube got leaky and wasn’t sitting right. It took the doctor 8 attempts of putting needles in my arms to place a new one over the span of an hour. And now that it’s over and the adrenaline has gone down the pain sets in… So many holes in my poor veins
The same med student that managed to get some blood from me yesterday tried again after her colleague failed and I drank like 2litres inbetween to make it a bit easier. For her it was no issue. We agreed that she‘s the chosen one when it comes to my blood lmao

Kinda sucks that even with a painkiller that lasts me 3-4 hours I can’t get through the whole night because the second the pain is back I wake up and can‘t fall asleep until I get something to at least dull it. Man I can’t wait for this to be over. A full night of sleep would go so hard.
Update: They switched my pain medication and while it‘s not perfect this is definitely the least pain I‘ve felt in the last 3 days. I hope it also works longer than the other one.

Update: My new roommate is a sweet lady who unfortunately barely has a voice at all. She can‘t speak. And she‘s paired up with a basically deaf person who needs to be shouted at to understand what someone‘s saying. Did they do this on purpose? It has sitcom potential ngl.

In the ER now. They did not appreciate that one bit (which I get). But I almost fainted and I think I seem a little less whiny to them now haha They gave me a stronger painkiller which is STILL not working. I wanna bang my head against a wall :D
