the door handle close up in Luigi's mansion was a really wonderful detail. Easy and instant it was to skip if you wanted, so it never got annoying. But so many times I'd let it play out just because of how much it added to the mood.

If you ever believed Luigi's hands moved oddly smoothly in Luigi's Mansion, you were right: the game nearly always runs at 30 FPS except for cutscenes that are close-up shots of Luigi's hands, which are the only times the game renders gameplay at 60 FPS.

If you wish to see media improve then creators will need to push away from brain rot. People need stories with messages, they need themes, they need a developing story that resonates with the audience. Funny jokes with little depth are short-term distractions that create shallow media.
