Competed for Hopkins at the US Croquet Association Collegiate Championship this weekend. Had a lot of fun and ended up placing top 10 with my teammate Clark which placed Hopkins 4th in the nation. BTW also passed my GBO and I am officially a PhD candidate now!

I was testing DeepSeek's knowledge and it was interesting to see that it can hallucinate Chinese characters. However, it seems that using this Chinese character (完整=complete / intact) translated into English would provide a reasonable statement.

As others have pointed out, the fellowship is now available only to 1st year grad students. (Left is last year, right is this year)
Announcing such a major change to NSF GRFP this late in the cycle is incredibly cruel. 2nd yr students (mine included) have been working so hard on their proposals despite ongoing uncertainty. They are driven and passionate about being outstanding scientists and helping those coming up behind them.
