My new novel, The Amber Owl, first book in the Heartwood Duology, is out now from New Dawn Publishing. It's available via ANZ booksellers, and the publisher is working on wider distribution. You can also purchase via the publisher's website - they ship internationally. Link in comments.

Image shows author Juliet seated on the couch, holding a book called The Amber Owl, with intricate tracery of plants and animals on a forest green cover. Juliet has a small white dog on either sideof her, cuddling up.Bild

BREAKING: France, Germany, Poland, Italy, Spain & UK sign a joint statement vowing to protect Ukraine’s sovereignty & demanding a role in the peace talks. This is leadership. It’s also unprecedented. A western alliance is having to form against a new, twin & united threat: Trump & Putin.

WEIMAR+STATEMENT FRANCE, GERMANY, POLAND, ITALY, SPAIN, UNITED KINGDOM EU HIGH REPRESENTATIVE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AND SECURITY POLICY We are ready to enhance our support for Ukraine. We commit to its independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity in the face of Russia's war of aggression. We share the goal to keep supporting Ukraine until a just, comprehensive and lasting peace is reached. A peace that guarantees the interest of Ukraine and our own. We are looking forward to discussing the way ahead together with our American allies. Our shared objectives should be to put Ukraine in a position of strength. Ukraine and Europe must be part of any negotiations. Ukraine should be provided with strong security guarantees. A just and lasting peace in Ukraine is a necessary condition for a strong transatlantic security. We recall that the security of the European continent is our common responsibility. We are therefore working together to strengthen our collective defense capabilities.

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public. He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit. Make sure everyone sees this cartoon.

Spare some good wishes for Rocky, who is dealing with complicated health issues including high blood pressure and kidney disease. He'll starve rather than touch the required special diet. A difficult time. He's spending a lot of time sleeping in this favourite spot on the couch.
