I finished Neuromancer and I really liked it. One of the things that stood out to me was it's empathetic view of drug addicts. Its so common in sci fi and cyberpunk to look at addicts as just nameless tweekers or zombies, but Neuromancer did it a lot better.

Any time I've tried to read a novel in the past I've had to give up because my brain was just too loud and foggy. I'm finally in a place mentally where I can just sit down and read a book and I'm really enjoying it. If you're like me and you gave up trying, it may be worth trying again
