Nobody is abandoning their jobs. Actors are trying to bring attention to a real issue about AI, and arguing about it like this and lending credence to their being replaceable only strengthens the companies that want to use AI to do so. There is no “lone wolf” strike. It’s a community of actors.

I disagree strongly with this If you are striking and you are unable to speak out about it, but you show solidarity to your peers in private, then you are striking and it matters. And I know many actors who feel they cannot speak about it for fear of being replaced quicker. Do not blame THEM.

If I was the voice of a beloved video game character for over 20 years I simply wouldn’t be so committed to being a malodorous asshole that it could get my dumb fuckin’ ass fired

As someone that has hired artists before, I am BEGGING you: if you're using social media to network or for work in any way, PLEASE get rid of any "aspiring" or "hopeful" qualifiers before your title. It's someone else's job to decide if you're qualified, don't make it easy for them to count you out.

This is Theo. He's always looking out for his older sister Mia. Sometimes that means simply making sure she gets enough pets at day care. 13/10 for both
