part of why I don't like AI is bc it's so often the antithesis of caring for the little things, the appreciation of the mundane, of seeing beauty where others haven't yet been able to, and seeking genuine fundamental understanding all in the name of "get product faster" I find it so disheartening

so when i was a kid i read "The Giver" by Lois Lowry, and like any other person read lots of books from dead authors in school, i thought Ms. Lowry was among the long perished, but i found out.. she is, in fact, still alive and still writing. i'm loving an eARC of her book, "Building 903" right now!
