Now I'm thinking about all the stories I've read where the villain is more relatable than the protagonists.

Maybe it's just me, but telling the same stories over and over is boring. It's INSANE how many people ignore that GMs are players too. Sometimes, they'll present something in a game because they enjoy it and want other people to interact with it--you know, like every player at the table. #TTRPG

Today highlights why I take a day between gym trips. Tired bear is tired.

Sometimes I wonder if people who know me see the things that irritate me and, rather than say anything and risk the social fallout, wait for me to go scorched earth. On one hand, that's aggravting unto itself but on the other... ...am I my friend group's nuclear option? 🤔

Having random thoughts about a German shepherd I had about 15ish years ago. Had to give him away after he mauled a neighbor's dog. For context, the other dog lunged at my sister while she was walking him and Butch decided that was unacceptable. I still maintain he did nothing wrong.

One of the more frustrating things I find myself running across in worldbuilding and writing Tales of Unterra is that there's a certanu kind of player that outright doesn't like to be challenged. Not only mechanically, but narratively as well. The "that's not what the statblock says" type.

I have been asked by no less than three peoplewhat I want out of my PCs' stories in three different games and MY GOD that's a hard question to answer. 💀
