My issue is how quickly people are throwing the outlet under the bus before getting the facts. It's parasocial behavior to assume one person is an outlet. There are multiple talented journalists who work there still, writing and reporting on their communities.
People are blowing up my phone, asking me about what happened at LA TACO. I don't have an answer. Even if I knew everything, I couldn't say why. I'm just a contributor! But the statement reads like there's clearly more to the story.
