A really funny complaint about the Zohran discount grocery store idea is that non-poor people could use it when there’s a grocery store half a mile from my grocery store that has everything cost 20% more that rich people go to because they don’t want to shop with normal people.

I mean yeah they’ve been snatching toddlers out of finger painting class and breaking in the car windows of abuelitas on their way to clean hotel rooms and leaving cancer patients to die in concentration camps but are they not also human at the end of the day?

I mean yeah they’ve been snatching toddlers out of finger painting class and breaking in the car windows of abuelitas on their way to clean hotel rooms and leaving cancer patients to die in concentration camps but are they not also human at the end of the day? Ones with rich inner lives and backstories that might make their actions seem a little less black and white. Life isn’t always as clear cut as we make it out to be when we’re arguing online. Maybe they're going through a divorce for example. Maybe they have ADHD or IBS. Do they not also bleed is what I am saying. They also bleed do they not.

This is the tricky part though. If an author simply wrote the words "war is hell" on a piece of paper, or "man in conflict with nature" that wouldn't be very interesting to read! The same is true of posts. Sometimes one puts other words into a post that are technically superfluous to its meaning.

Remember how in school the teacher made you read a little short story and then you had to determine what the theme or takeaway so to speak of it was? You can do that for posts you read to. Boil them right down. For example in this one it would be "polls are fake."

There is a pretty big flaw to the thing people are saying about AES squeaking out a win despite polls having him up big recently and that is that polls are fake.

"Cis people who still do their Wordles or who still like Harry Potter? I cannot trust them. They are a threat in the sense that a drunk behind the wheel is dangerous or a sleepwalker stumbling towards a staircase is dangerous. Willfully or not they may cause actual harm."
