According to a report by the L.A. Times, Mark Walter—owner of the Dodgers—has entirely divested from GEO Group, the corporation operating two ICE facilities near Los Angeles.

UPDATE: The LAPD officer at the center of this story -- Vincent Deglinnocenti -- is no longer an LAPD officer. Last month he surrendered his license to be a cop in CA. This comes a year after my reporting pushed the LAPD to investigate Deglinnocenti for pulling a gun on a teen. @lataco.bsky.social

Earlier today at the Consulate of Mexico in L.A., the family of Jose Guadalupe Ramos-Solano shared some words about his recent passing while in custody at the Adelanto ICE Processing Center. His wife spoke briefly in Spanish about the inhumane and painful conditions of her late husband’s death.

Sorry for the late repost to here — at least 14 people were taken in Southern California today. On 15500 Merrill Ave in Fontana, it was later discovered to be two kidnappings per @fontana.decolonized on IG, making today's minimum total of 14 kidnappings in the Southern California area.
