The Extremely Accurate Birds calendar has become a cherished tradition in my household. I spend all year wondering what birds look like and my prayers are answered in the fall. What a gift to humanity.

my most depressing belief about the american mind is that climate change might be a bigger deal here if all the headline stats used Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. I genuinely think Americans see ‘a few degrees hotter’ and don’t register that C is different than F, lol
