Long Post: One thing I’ve learned from this Gen Con is to celebrate the joys in my life & focus on those that want me in theirs. There were…awkward moments that I’ve consistently been registering w/ folks I thought I had a great relationship with.

I'm really proud of the @infinite-citadel.com and @plusoneexp.bsky.social crews for always being honest with their finding goals. "It costs what it costs" is not always the sexiest way to run these, but it's ethical. Demand better from crowdfunding.

Frankly the people who think that this is a good way to run crowdfunding campaigns need to fail more, this grift is way too ubiquitous. Hopefully incidents like this also persuade backers to put more pressure on companies to disclose their real targets

Listen, putting aside if Mamdani can run for president (spoiler: he can’t, per the Constitution) I’d rather have a 1000 Mamdanis in local offices/government across the country than 1 Mamdani as President.

The expectations on cosplay con photographers to produce studio grade quality/results while paying for back alley prices needs to be fixed! The entitlement feels so…icky…. Remember, you only get two of the three: Good Cheap Fast
