Along with Sitochroa verticalis & a lovely Marbled Clover, the highlights were at least two Vestals that would often settle low down & right in front of us for a while. @linnetincley.bsky.social @suffolkmoths.bsky.social
Our afternoon was focused on walking tracks thru' a big set-aside field at Kesgrave for the Queen of Spain Fritillaries reported recently. We had 5 brief sightings on a blustery, often cloudy afternoon across 2 hours. Then, boom! A feeding QOSF! Sweet! @linnetincley.bsky.social #suffolkbutterflies
