Some surprise this morning at the appearance of a summer-y adult Continental Black-tailed Godwit + the 1CY. Late afternoon was better still, five limosas found, including two more summer adults & one in familiar well advanced moult. An exciting, fascinating arrival. #cleybirds #norfolkbirding #L3

...as well as the QoSFs, we found a few moths amongst the fleabane & brassicas. Our afternoon was focused on walking tracks thru' a big set-aside field at Kesgrave for the Queen of Spain Fritillaries reported recently. We had 5 brief sightings on a blustery, often cloudy afternoon across 2 hours. Then, boom! A feeding QOSF! Sweet! @linnetincley.bsky.social #suffolkbutterflies
