I've heard first hand that it's confirmed baristas are having breathing issues and headaches from being exposed to this new Starbucks blending powder. there are no news articles but this powder has silica in it and becomes airborne when used for drinks. Baristas aren't allowed to mask on shift.

Breathing in silica powder can be dangerous. Starbucks needs to address this if partners are starting to feel side-effects.
