Unhealthy smoke across most of the NW today. I prefer purpleair.com's map since it updates every few seconds (be sure to use the US EPA "Apply conversion" option). EPA airnow.gov data updates only once per hour and is up to a 12-hour average, so does not show rapidly changing conditions as well.
This is how it's done. Fight it out in the primary, and then link arms to defeat the common enemy in the general. Great demonstration of post-primary leadership from @mallorymcmorrow.bsky.social.

Ambler has gone 5 months without water and sewer. Fixes could take months.
According to the Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, about 85 percent of Ambler's main water lines are cracked, unable to hold pressure, and require replacement.

this is clickbait garbage a) it wasn't ~dronez~ stuff, it was the same vanilla GPS jamming that has occurred at WSMR for decades b) a crew should *absolutely* be capable of conducting a nonprecision approach to an ILS, *ESPECIALLY* if there's a NOTAM out for PNT jamming

These long flight time balloons are fascinating and open up some real cool autonomous laboratory possibilities where the positioning of these systems could be driven by models and AI based uncertainty quantification.
