I try to take a yearly spring trip to Jasper, but had to wait until fall this time. it didn't disappoint. it's been heartwarming to see the town being able to rebuild post-wildfire. there's a lot of wildlife in the area, and the burnt forests have tons of grasses and wildflowers.
going to lose my mind man it is end of 2026 and we still aren't using or dealing with strikes correctly IF THE ENEMY IS GONNA STRIKE THE ZONE: - clean up the edges of the zone before they throw them - watch the order the strikes fall in - paint in the order the strikes land--
idk what happened to me but I've been low-key enjoying vexplo more than cexplo these days
I don’t post a lot of my art here, but heres my “meet the artist” for this year! I’ve been doing this trend yearly since I started drawing! Crazy to see the difference every year 😅 Removed my name bc yall don’t get to know that on this account 😈 #art #meettheartist2026
btw i dont think counterpicked weapon bans work well in splatoon (as a standard; for gimmick tourney its fine) because some weaps have way more overlap than others. u ban 52 gal & the shooter player just plays literally anything else. u ban explo or tent or whatever & someone goes down 3 divs
Today is National Truth and Reconciliation Day. It is also Orange Shirt Day. Today, we honour Indigenous children, families, and communities who were impacted by the residential school system, including the children who never came back home. Truth is just the first step in reconciliation.
couldn't have asked for a better tournament to end things on, with many close sets, facing friends (Oh My Cod!), and good vibes the whole time!! don't really want to think about next steps for the team yet, just want to cherish how great the past (almost) year has been
DYM & EYV@dym-eyv.bsky.social · last mo.Drinking Your Milkshake got 2nd in Silver Bracket for Shopping Spree! Unfortunately though, it's with great sadness that we announce this was our last tournament with our wonderful frontline and brush player, Timokthy. We wish him luck as he steps away from comp to pursue life adventures!

now that more provinces won't be changing their clocks come November, I'm gonna need teams to clearly mark if they meant standard or daylight time, use UTC, or use the discord timestamp thing when they try schedule stuff. this shit is gonna end up being confusing lol

I can't wait for the next instalment in my favourite Eldritch horror series
OOT remake looks gorgeous but also the full HD seems unsettling sometimes and idk whyyyy I am so glad nintendo went for a faithful adaptation with quality of life changes. Im personally not a fan of open world Zelda so I'm v happy
2 games in 1.5 hours! I did switch to naut as an experiment and it instantly queued me 🙃

Occasionally I see posts about how high and top level need to foster more growth in mid and low level. I think there is more that can be done in that regard, but if you're saying this then I have a tip you can implement RIGHT NOW not contingent on asking other people to do things: go to your locals.
been neglecting Splatoon but here's some pretty pictures I took instead from my recent camping trip two jack lake + lake minnewanka, banff national park 🥰
we've been working on a lot of stuff and we're *so* close to getting things to how I'm envisioning it. our weapon comps force us to have v strong teamwork and discipline. I think figuring this now will help us tons in the long run. we could make our lives easier with different comps but nahhh
