Veilkeeper is a tactical RPG where your army shrinks the deeper you push. You lead expeditions into unstable rifts, and every soldier assigned to hold a relay cannot fight in the next battle. The Play NYC demo is a three-fight run: draft six units, then choose one to leave behind between each battle

New players shouldn't have to guess what a unit does before choosing it. Veilkeeper's draft screen now has unit cards showing role, strengths, weaknesses, and a short tactical overview. Small UI changes like this make the first battle much easier to understand. #veilkeeperdev #gamedev #indiedev

Fixed a subtle issue in my tag system: Typos didn’t break anything—they just silently failed. “pooison” = no poison effect, no error. Now all tags are validated at startup against a master list. Flexible system, but with safety. #gamedev #indiedev #veilkeeperdev
