Unreal quadrupling down on AI? Well, if you're considering Godot, keep in mind that the last version that was not made with AI contributions was 4.5. You can perhaps extend some courtesy to 4.6, but 4.7 openly includes AI-generated code and LLM-assisted changes. Do with this info what you will.

Congrats to all who submitted something to the #FightingGameAprilJam2026, especially if it's your first 'shipped' game. I played, rated and left feedback on all 60 games and I was impressed with many of them. Even at the lower end of the rankings, most games had good ideas or did something well.

If you are commissioning an artist, and want a specific pose, don't run to genAI to try and make it for you. Draw a stick person. Stick person poses are beloved among all artists. We can see exactly what you want. Do not fear sending the stick person. The stick person is magical.

I'm ngl I can't pay my $2 google one subscription anymore I really need some graphic design commissions while I'm looking for a job I'm very versatile, I've done work for Limbo Breakers, MarsBars_Music, and Midwest Mixfest in the past, I usually do logos for around $20-50 depending on complexity

I was a judge on this as well! Lots of cool ideas & aesthetics here, great job to everyone who participated cause I think this has to be one of the hardest genres to make something for in general, nonetheless with a deadline. I spent a little too much time in training mode on some of y'alls games!
