i think i 100% forgot to announce it here but i have a Flying Throne of Supremacy (aka "motorized wheelchair" if you are a lame-ass human) now. demi and i have been taking trips to museums and such on weekends. tiring (+ takes me like 3 days to recover from) but my soul feels pure again. yeehaw

i literally cannot make art (of almost any kind) unless i let go of the Outcome. it's a hard place to reach but i recommend trying to get there if you have a perfectionist or procrastination streak 👍

The “best” thing about genAI (the quotes are doing heavy work here) is that it’s really lowered the bar on getting into hand-made art. Literally anything you make is better than ai. There’s never been a better time to throw away your fear and start learning that craft you’ve always wanted to learn.

Don't be afraid to ask your local library strange questions. I asked mine if I could reserve a meeting room just so I can cut fabric, to which they suggested the best rooms for me to borrow and at what times.
