every time you write overly defensively you should remember that you are pursuing a strategy of writing careful sentences specifically for people who demonstrably either won't or can't read them

Whit EM@whittyrem.bsky.social · 3mo agoHelp settle a 16 year discussion between me and my husband- if someone tells you something in confidence and asks you to tell no one does that mean: A- You’re not telling your spouse/partner B- You are telling your spouse/partner unless you’ve been specifically asked not to
Is there any way to convince a 7yo that asking the same question repeatedly to the point of insanity is not going to change the answer???

A bunch of people on the plane clapped when the US scored against CAN. It was a nice little moment after an ass-early flight.
Cody was basically asleep with his mouth hanging open the whole flight, including descent, and then we touched down HARD and he just goes “found it” without opening his eyes. 😂😂
One way to regulate your ADHD child’s screen time, as an ADHD parent, is to just get locked in a never ending cycle of them forgetting to charge the device, letting them yell at you for not charging it for them, telling them you’ll charge it, and then absolutely forgetting to charge it.
