Not sure what to do here: new smart meter; British Gas hasn't given me the smart energy monitor, and the British Gas app says I do not have an account. My British Gas Account says it was last updated in July. Their guide for getting started doesn't have my brand of meter. Can I just die, please?
Elektrickery meter installed, went to reboot my PC and it wouldn't post, had a heart attack, and figured the error code was a USB peripheral, not sure which, but managed to get it running for now 😱

So the cupboard under the stairs here is huge, like a boxroom, and it is where the electricity meter that's being changed today is. It has never been too tidy, as Mrs likes to hide everything in there. She buys shoes/trainers quite often; I have just found her stash of them-fuck me, there are tons.
Right I better head up to bed; British Gas are due at 8am, and the leccy will be off for up to four hours. The last time they tried to fit a new meter, it failed, and there is no other option, so this might be goodbye for good 😂🤣 #DramaticOverPlaying
